Meet The Owners: DonnaMarie & Bill Hasenfus
Bill Hasenfus started Skydive Adventure (formally Para-Naut Inc) in 1961 – He moved the operation to it’s present location in 1965 – the name change Skydive Adventure came in the 90’s, but Bill has been the only Owner/Operator since it started.
Bill Hasenfus (D-404) holds the following ratings: Senior Rigger – Static Line Instructor – Commercial Pilot ticket – Pro Rating and has been a member of the Liberty Parachute Team for 30+ years (jumping at events such as EAA – Oklahoma City Air Show – Las Vegas Air Show). Bill is one of eleven members of the Liberty Team owned by Larry Bartlet and Doug Gipe. At 78 years young he says, “that Skydiving keeps him young and in shape”.
Skydive Adventure is a member of the United States Parachute Association and follows basic safety requirements for all skydiving activities, including the use of approved training methods, appropriately rated personnel, and the latest in student parachute equipment. Bill Hasenfus, Skydive owner-operator, has been jumping out of airplanes and training students for the past 53 years with an excellent safety record. For the past 30 years, Bill, his wife DonnaMarie and the professional staff train between 1,500 and 2,500 first-time students each year.
When someone decides to throw their body out of an airplane, they call us to sign up for a Tandem Skydive, after which they may pursue skydiving as a sport with one of our programs offered to obtain their license. Students are the main business and have priority at this drop zone. We have independent contractors and experienced jumpers that enjoy working with new Students – putting together formation dives from the Cessna aircraft that our center operates. A jump at Skydive Adventure holds some of the most spectacular scenery Wisconsin has to offer with breathtaking views of our lakes, rivers, and seasonal changes – as well as a view of the Cities that are located around us.

How many people can jump at once? I’m in charge of throwing a batchlor party and I thought this would be a lot of fun. I believe it would be 6 guys.
We are able to take two people in the plane at a time – six (6) people 2 1/2 hours
Depending on the day that you are booked for – we have one to four Tandem Masters here – we can take one to two Tandem Students w/Tandem Masters in a plane at-a-time – if there is six of you with two Tandem Masters it would take about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs
How old or what size do you have to be to tandem jump
You need to be at least 18 years of age – no one over 225 pounds – there is an additional fee for persons over 200 pounds
everyone MUST be at least 18 years-of-age ~PERIOD~ NO EXCEPTIONS
we have a weight limit of 225 pounds – height/weight should be proportional

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hasenfus,
I am hosting a benefit for a one year old girl who had suffered a stroke at five months. She spent several months afterward awaiting her heart transplant while admitted at the Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee.
Lizzie’s parents (Benjamin Dercks & Sandy Simmons of Kaukauna) will need a lot of help to offset Lizzie’s medical expenses.

So, do you no longer offer static-line or AFF? Is tandem the only option for first-time divers?
We are instructing Tandem/Tandem Progression per the USPA (United States Parachute Assc) guide line – We have been doing it this way for about 8 years now and the students seem to like it – You no longer have to have a lot of people we will train just one (1), if that is all there is. Hi, I am wondering if you guys still jump for the end of this year or are you closed already??
I was wondering when your dates start for the season and rates,I’m currently stationed in Alaska due to me being military and my girlfriend has asked me several times if she could try skydiving since I’ve done military jumps since I talk about it alot. That’s quite a history in the sport and possibly the longest I have been aware of. I think Sir David Sterling or Icarus are the only two men to out-do you.
Been jumping myself on and off since 1992 (ex-military and then sports jumping). Been through the static line and AFF system of both military and civilian schools. Just started a blog called – extremesportsblogger.com – and intend on travelling to every DZ in UK, Europe and America and blogging about the experience. i have been wanting to do a tandem jump for as many years as the first time I heard that Pres. George H. W. Bush made his first 70ish Birthday tandem jump. I thought, if he can do it at his age, I can do it at mine! I just need to know a few times first: do I need reservations if I want to jump this Saturday, the 5th of September, do I need to do any pre-jump preparations before Saturday; do we get a picture with the jump & finally, what is the cost for a tandem jump? I’m not sure that I will be the only one jumping, my 18 year old son may also jump. That’s why the cost is so important to me. Do you offer the extended lessons to be able to jump alone and not a tandem? Or is there an option for one tandem jump and one solo jump in the same day?
